Let’s start off right!

Father God, we just want to say thank you! Thank you for revelation, inspiration and dedication.  We ask that you bless the eyes that come upon these words, give them a heart to receive, a mind to understand and the intentions to do something about it. Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. Amen.

“No matter how it ends. Better is coming!”

Confess this: No matter what comes; no matter who goes; I’m going with God all the way!!

As we embark on the closing of another year and the beginning of a new one.  First, let’s just say, Thank you Lord!  If you are reading this, God has been good to you! He woke you up.  You may not have everything you want but you have everything you need.  Food on your table if only a can of beans. A roof over your head even if it’s in a shelter. Clothes on your back even if it has a hole in it and shoes on your feet even if the soles are run down.

In order for better to come, you need to be thankful for what came and excited to see the old go.  Mark 2:22 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

You can not take the old ways that didn’t work into the new.  The definition of insanity is thinking you can do the same thing over and over and expect a different result.

Well, how can I start the New Year off right? Glad you asked.

  1. “Submit yourself to God”. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given to him.

Know that you can not take a step without Him. You can not take a step without knowing the steps he wants you to take (you shouldn’t). If you walk this life without him. You are setting yourself up to fail.

  1. Evaluate “The Company You Keep”. There is a saying; show me your company and I’ll show you who you are. If you hang with liars, you’ll start lying.

Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” 1 Corinthians 15:33

Be mindful of who you’re talking to.  Ask yourself is this relationship glorifying God or is he grieved.

  1. Acknowledge Him” Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
  2. Have high expectations” Matthew 19:26….With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. Know that if He said it, he is not a man that he should lie. Though it tarries, it will still come to pass.

2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

In this life, you will get out what you put in. With bank accounts there have to be deposits in order to make withdrawals.  In some cases you can make a transaction and then you’re in the negative.  Same with relationships..seek relationships that don’t deplete you but put you in surplus.

When God makes a promise. He makes it where no one else can take credit for it.  No one else could have given it to you and you know it’s nobody but God. It’s worth waiting for. It’s worth crying and praying for. It’s going to be so worth it you are not going to remember the process he took you through to get it.

So be thankful and prayerful looking forward to the New Year!  Because, the best is yet to come!

Happy New Year!

In His Name,

Lady G
